Team Background: The VIVIFOCAL team consists of optical professionals with over 10 years of R&D experience. We consistently monitor and adopt the latest technologies for product development. Dr. Zhao, Founder and CEO of VIVIFOCAL, holds a Ph.D. from one of the world’s top universities. With years of experience heading an optical R&D lab at an industry-leading optics company, he brings deep expertise to the science of optics.
Dr. Zhao discovered that people with presbyopia worldwide struggled to find glasses that truly met their needs. Driven by this insight, he sought to develop all-sight adaptive eyewear. This innovation aims to eliminate the need to constantly take glasses on and off—or hunt for the specific focal zones found in progressive lenses—when switching between viewing distances, thereby enhancing productivity for those with presbyopia. Thus, the VIVIFOCAL brand was born.
