This year at Wonderfest, we were incredibly lucky to be right in the middle of it.
Our trip to WonderFest 2026 was all about connecting with the makers. Surrounded by some of the most talented hands in the hobby, we wanted to show how technology can serve the art we all love.
Here is a recap of our journey, the incredible moments we shared.
The Vision Struggle is Real
We started VIVIFOCAL because we noticed a common frustration: as we get older, our eyes struggle to keep up with our skills.
At WonderFest, we saw this struggle firsthand. We met modelers who were constantly swapping between three different pairs of glasses, and others wearing heavy magnifiers for hours, resulting in neck pain and headaches.
Our goal with VIVIFOCAL is simple: to let you see like you’re 20 again, so you can focus entirely on your craft.
The "Wow" Moments at Our Table
Throughout the two-day show, we welcomed hundreds of hobbyists to our booth to experience our adpative-focus technology .
The highlight of our weekend was watching the transition on people’s faces. We set up a "Micro-Detail Challenge" with a highly detailed 1/35 scale miniature. Modelers would put on our eyewear, look at the miniature, and experience the smooth, hands-free adaptive-focus adjustment.
“Wow, that’s amazing...” was the universal phrase of the weekend, uttered the second the adaptive-focus kicked in.
Hearing people say things like, "I haven't seen details this crisp in years without straining!" was the ultimate validation for our team.
The Ripple Effect: The Power of Word-of-Mouth
The power of organic word-of-mouth is a remarkable thing. Once those first "Wow" moments happened at our table, the buzz began to spread.
“Everyone is raving about this autofocus glasses, what’s the deal???”
At one point, we realized we didn’t even need to explain our product. Modelers who had just tried VIVIFOCAL were turning to the people behind them in line, actively demonstrating how the lenses shifted. They compared it to their own annoying lenses, explaining the amazing optical experience.
We watched in amazement as people would walk away from our table, only to return ten minutes later dragging their friends by the arm: “You have to try this. It autofocuses, seriously!”
