How much is VIVIFoCAL, and what do I get with the $10 deposit?
Once you place the $10 refundable deposit, you can secure the exclusive discounted price of $289, plus a free gift for depositors: an $80 polarized sunglasses lens(for non-prescription users, or $179 prexscription customization for prescription users. That's a $210 savings compared to the $499 MSRP.
Everyone who backs the campaign also receives our Prescription Service (worth $179) included at no extra cost, which comes standard with a 1.59 index lens. You can upgrade to a thinner 1.67 index (+$50) or the thinnest 1.74 index (+$100) as an add-on based on your prescription needs.
How do I submit my prescription?
After the campaign ends, we'll send you a simple form to submit your prescription details (or let us know if you don't need vision correction), so we can prepare your lenses ahead of shipping.
Why should I place a deposit before the campaign goes live?
Placing a deposit secures the $289 price before VIVIFoCAL launches publicly on Kickstarter at $339. The specific launching date in Kickstarter will be announced 7 days before we launch. We guarantee that this will be the best price for eyewear throughout the entire lifespan. Your deposit is fully refundable if you change your mind, so there's no risk of reserving your spot today. Your satisfaction is our top priority.
Is the $10 deposit really refundable, and how do I get a refund?
Yes. If you no longer wish to purchase VIVIFoCAL, email support@vivifocal.com from the address you used to place your deposit, and we'll process your refund within 7 business days.
What type of activities can I do while wearing VIVIFoCAL?
VIVIFoCAL is designed to cover everyday in-office and workspace activities, such as reading, working on a computer, and general day-to-day tasks. As a safety precaution, we don't recommend operating heavy machinery, driving, or doing physically strenuous work in dynamic environments while wearing VIVIFoCAL. A full usage guide covering recommended and unsupported activities will be published as our testing continues.
Why do I need to use the same email address for my deposit and my Kickstarter pledge?
We’ll match the email address you use for your Kickstarter pledge with our deposit records to verify your eligibility.Your $50 cashback (the difference between your deposit price and the Kickstarter launch price) and your original $10 deposit will both be refunded, bringing your final cost to$289. Please make sure the email you use on Kickstarter matches the one you used for your deposit.
How many deposits can I place?
Each $10 deposit reserves the discounted price for one VIVIFoCAL unit. If you'd like to purchase more than one, please place a separate deposit for each unit.
Is VIVIFoCAL shipped worldwide?
VIVIFoCAL will ship worldwide. Final shipping regions may change, and we'll keep you updated if there are any changes.
How much is shipping?
The shipping fee of the VIVIFoCAL unit is a flat $10 worldwide. This is a discounted rate, made possible because VIVIFoCAL covers the rest of the actual shipping cost.
When will VIVIFoCAL ship?
We expect to begin mass production in October, with products shipping out of the factory starting in late December after Kickstarter campaign concludes. You'll receive a tracking number once your order ships from the local warehouse; exact delivery timing will vary by destination.
What's VIVIFoCAL's warranty?
VIVIFoCAL comes with a 1-year warranty from the date of delivery, covering manufacturing defects. Customers in the European Union are also covered by the EU's statutory 2-year legal guarantee for consumer goods, in addition to our warranty.
